A downloadable game for Windows

This is a small project I made for the fun of it. I have been enjoying Godot for a little while now, and getting OK at it. So I decided it was time to make a mini 3rd person 3D shooter game and release it!

It is very simple: you are a robot and you shoot lasers at other robots. Eliminate all enemies, and you win!

The game is very short, but you can ramp up the difficulty level to have some replay value. I have been able to finish the game a couple of times on the "hard" setting, but never on "impossible". I think "impossible" is just... impossible. ;-) You can also play in "god mode" and have fun with the robots. Another way to enjoy the game is to try different strategies to eliminate the enemies: go guns blazzing, lure them in a corridor, shoot them from the roof, etc.

The game should run fine on any relatively modern PC, even ones with integrated graphics (e.g. the game runs at 80+ FPS fullscreen on an Intel Iris Xe). The game is set at 30 FPS by default, but you can change that to you liking in the settings. On my machine, the game runs much smoother with V-Sync on, even if it caps the FPS to 60.

The game comes in a ZIP file. Once you have downloaded the game, locate the ZIP file on your computer, right click on the file and select: "Extract All...". Choose where you want to save the game, then double-click on the LaserBall.exe file to launch the game. Have fun!
